Roma midfielder Daniele De Rossi has been discharged from the Gemelli hospital in Rome, the club have confirmed.
The Italian was admitted into hospital last week after suffering from a renal colic attack, just days after being released following a fractured cheekbone incident. Initial fears suggested he needed surgery.
However, he appears to have made a full recovery, and the Lupi have confirmed he will need to rest before returning to full training action.
A statement on the club's official website reads:
"AS Rome would like to note that Daniele De Rossi was has been released from the Gemelli Polyclinic in good condition.
"After a brief rest period at home, he will undertake a specific recovery programme in order to then begin physical activity with the team."
