Juventus striker Vincenzo Iaquinta admits his dream is to see Barcelona ace Lionel Messi play for the Old Lady.

"I would like to see Messi at Juventus," the hitman told Tuttosport.

Iaquinta is currently recovering from knee surgery and his aim is to return for the showdown Derby d'Italia against Inter on December 5. He is also eager to see the Alessandro Del Piero - Diego partnership blossom and spark new life into the attacking line up.

"I hope to come back for the Inter game, but it will not be easy as I was operated on only three weeks ago. However, my recovery is going well," added the Italian.

"It will be a battle against Jose Mourinho's side. We have to be focussed for over 90 minutes.

"As for Del Piero, he is fundamental for us and a symbol inside the dressing room. He gives us added value on the pitch.

"He and Diego will surely create some great play."

The Old Lady welcome Udinese to the Olimpico on Sunday. They are currently five points behind league leaders Inter. Del Piero is expected to play.
