Gian Paolo Montali Demands Roma Revival
The Giallorossi director says no mistakes will be tolerated from now on…
Roma director Gian Paolo Montali has warned that it will be win or bust for the Lupi when Serie A resumes this weekend after the international break.
Claudio Ranieri’s men languish in 13th place in the standings after the opening 12 rounds of matches and Montali is adamant the following weeks will be crucial for the future of their campaign.
“It is a key moment for Roma,” the newly-appointed executive told Il Romanista.
“This hiatus served to highlight the points we will have to follow over the next month.
“A big chunk of our future will be at stake from now until January. We must have a team and be concentrated and determined.
“We have to be almost ruthless in looking to get the best on and off the pitch. We must not make any mistakes. It will take sharpness and mental and physical freshness.
“We have a high-level roster of players and must aim for the top places.”
