Juventus returned to training on Tuesday afternoon, with veterans Fabio Cannavaro and Gianluigi Buffon rejoining the squad, according to Sportal.it.

The duo were among the players sent home by Italy coach Marcello Lippi following the 0-0 stalemate with the Netherlands on Saturday, therefore skipping Wednesday's match against Sweden.

Coach Ciro Ferrara will be glad to have such key men back amongst his team early. Juve, who trail Serie A leaders Inter by five points, are preparing to face Udinese on Sunday evening in Turin.

Meanwhile, there was further good news for the Bianconeri. Claudio Marchisio, Jonathan Zebina and Mohamed Sissoko were all able to take part in some technical and tactical exercises with their team-mates, indicating they are well on the road to recovery from their respective injuries.
