No Rift Between Milan & Gennaro Gattuso - Agent
The midfielder’s representative has cooled off speculation linking his client with a move away from the San Siro.
The agent of Milan star Gennaro Gattuso is adamant the 31-year-old midfielder remains fully committed to the club, despite press reports suggesting that ‘Rino’ is at loggerheads with boss Leonardo.
Gattuso was said to be angry over his omission from the recent Champions League clash against Real Madrid, and there have been claims his future might lie away from the Stadio San Siro.
“I am aware of these whispers, but I have nothing to say about them,” agent Andrea D’Amico told MilanNews.it.
“When we talk about Rino’s future, it is always a delicate topic. Regarding his exclusion from the match with Real, the coach made a decision, having played Rino the full 90 minutes against Parma.
“But I can assure you that it is tough for Rino to stay out when he is feeling well. We are not talking about an ordinary player.
“Anyway, I have not received any signals that he is unhappy, so there is nothing to it.”
