Roma Star Daniele De Rossi Does Not Need Further Surgery - Report
Despite being told that he may need surgery for his colic problem, the club now says that he does not need to go under the knife again...
But the club has released a statement saying that the 26-year-old may not need to under the knife again, after being silent on the issue since Thursday, according to Datasport.
"Contrary to reports," the statement on the website said. "There is no medical condition requiring surgical correction.
"The player will therefore be discharged from hospital as soon as we see signs of improvement."
De Rossi is still expected to miss matches against Bari and Atalanta, as he recovers from facial surgery.
