Napoli coach Walter Mazzarri spoke about various topics when he was the guest on a famous Italian television program on Sunday afternoon.

Amongst the issues he discussed were Fabio Quagliarella's case, the importance of Ezequiel Lavezzi and the possible arrival of Antonio Cassano. Although he was less than forthcoming about the last question.

"I found a very helpful group," affirmed the former Sampdoria coach to 'Quelli che il calcio'.

"In a month and a half we have obtained important results.

"Cassano to Napoli? The market is taken care of by the president. I respect the roles.

"Quagliarella case? Absolutely no. He cleared the issue after Catania, and even I did it. It was an outburst of the moment.

"Lavezzi? He was available to help the team straight away. He's a player who knows how to make the difference."

Following Mazzarri's arrival, Napoli have climbed up the standings and are now in ninth place with 18 points from 12 games, just three points away from a Champions League spot.
