Catania Showing Interest In Bologna's Pablo Osvaldo - Report
The Elefanti's target over the winter will be the former Fiorentina, now-Bologna hitman...
Catania president Pietro Lo Monaco has revealed that he has set his sights on attempting to attract Bologna forward Pablo Osvaldo to the Elefanti over the winter transfer window.
Lo Monaco seems intent on getting another quality forward to play alongside Takayuki Morimoto, and help the Sicilian side climb out of the bottom three in the league, according to Itasportpress.it.
After failing to capture the signature of Roberto Stellone, the Etnean club are interested in landing Osvaldo - if need be - on a loan-deal or part-ownership basis with Bologna.
The 23-year-old has fallen out of favour with new Rossoblu coach Franco Colomba, and a shift down south could be what the forward needs to resurrect his playing career.
The Catania director has previously stated that he admires the former Fiorentina player, and would like to see him wearing the Rossoazzurri colours.
