We Still Haven’t Reached Our True Potential – Udinese Defender Andrea Coda
The Zebrette stopper is optimistic for the future of the Friuli outfit...
As Udinese weigh up their satisfactory start to the campaign, Zebrette defender Andrea Coda feels his side can do better as they look to fulfill their full potential in the run up to the Christmas break.
“We are a strong side,” he declared to Datasport.
“If we managed certain situations a little better, we could go further. Since I have been here in Friuli, I have always looked to improve bit by bit.
“I feel great here at Udinese because it is a great environment in which to work and develop as a player. Playing with more continuity we can acquire more security; this is important because it enables you to have more confidence to play simple football."
With the Zebrette set to face the Juventus next weekend in Turin, the defender then commented on his side’s chances against the Old Lady.
“Aside from who may or may not be absent, I am confident. Both from a motivational sense and a tactical point of view, we have always played well against the top sides. Teams such as Juventus attack you from the outset and this leaves more space available for us to play our own game.”
