We Will Get Firing Again Against The Big Sides – Bari Striker Vitor Barreto
The Galletti hitman tried to explain his side's recent goal drought...
Despite the lack in goals, Bari hitman Vitor Barreto looked to underline the work he and fellow forwards are doing for the team as he spoke in a recent interview to Datasport.
“It’s true we aren’t scoring enough, but I’m sure we will get firing again soon,” declared the forward.
“Personally, I am not happy with my haul and I was expecting a few more goals for my efforts. Despite the fact I am still not physically 100 percent fit, I don’t want to find any alibis for the lack of performance in the box.
“Plus all the chances have been falling to [Edgar] Alvarez,” he added in jest.
As the Galletti prepare to travel to the eternal city next weekend, the Brazilian warned the Giallorossi of his side’s habit of stepping up against the big named sides.
“They are a great team, but we would love to take on similar sides every weekend because Bari always play better against the top teams.”
