Despite recent reports that Bobo Vieri was ready to hang up his boots for good and call time on his playing career, it seems the former Lazio and Inter forward may be ready for one last crack at the whip as he nears an agreement with Brazilian outfit Boavista Sport Club.

According to Globoesporte, the 36-year-old hitman was at the Antonio Carlos Jobim airport in Rio this morning and will sign with the Brazilian Serie C outfit in the coming days.

The striker is reported to be netting a €33,000 monthly contract which will tie him to the club until next May. He will also be handed a beach side apartment and the chance to realise a dream of a move to Rio.

Ironically Boavista play their home encounters in a coastal city 90 minutes away from Rio de Janeiro, and so the former Lazio hitman is set to be provided with his own driver to allow him a comfortable passage to the stadium.
