No Roma Return For Inter Midfielder Amantino Mancini - Agent
The Brazilian’s representative has refuted reports that his client is looking to move back to the Eternal City.
The representative of Inter winger Amantino Mancini has moved quickly to stop the rumour mill after several media outlets in Italy claimed yesterday that the 29-year-old could make a sensational return to Roma during the January transfer window.
“We have not talked to Roma,” agent Gilmar Veloz insisted on Romanews.eu.
“There have been no contacts with the Giallorossi directors. Amantino is under contract with Inter and is a Nerazzurri player.
“It’s not a problem to me if he plays very little at Inter and the same goes for the lad. As I said, he is tied to Inter and it’s up to them to decide.”
Mancini joined the Italian champions in the summer of 2008 after spending five brilliant seasons at the Stadio Olimpico.
And there are suggestions he would relish the opportunity to return to the Italian capital after failing to impress coach Jose Mourinho at the San Siro.
“I don’t want to talk about it: he is an Inter player and that’s it,” concluded the representative.
