Bari Must Continue To Work With Desire And Intensity – Giampiero Ventura
The Galletti tactician isn’t getting carried away with his side’s promising start to the season...
“We have 18 points, and this means so far we have been doing something right,” declared the coach.
“As I have always said, we could have even had a greater haul had certain games gone a little differently. Nevertheless, we must stay focused on what we have on the board, as in football ifs and buts don’t get you anywhere.”
As the Galletti prepare for a difficult run of fixtures from now until the Christmas break, the coach then expressed confidence in his side’s ability to continue their fine moment of form.
“Excluding the home game against Siena, we are set to come up against a number of big names in the coming weeks. Looking at the manner in which we performed on both occasions at San Siro however, I feel we have demonstrated our ability to have our say against the top sides.”
Bari are set to face Roma at the Stadio Olimpico next weekend following the international break.
