As the rest of the squad continues with double training sessions at Formello in a bid to rediscover some unity during the international break, Lazio were dealt a kick in the teeth by want away hitman Goran Pandev who displayed good form for his country this afternoon.

With the Biancocelesti struggling for goals so far this season after having found the net a meagre six times through the forward trio of Mauro Zarate, Tommaso Rocchi and Julio Cruz; Pandev once again showed the Aquile what they are missing as he bagged a brace in FYR Macedonia’s 3-0 victory over Canada.

After having scored twice from the penalty spot, the hitman took his season’s tally to six - all scored with the Red Lions on international duty.
