Fiorentina ace Stevan Jovetic faces more pain in the treatment room as the injury to his toe continues to worsen.

According to Il Corriere Fiorentino, the Montenegrin star's injury is showing no sign of clearing up. He has been out with a toe problem since October 28, when he injured himself against Genoa.

The report claims his problem has worsened and he is struggling to walk. His foot in swollen and the scan he had earlier this week revealed the cause of the problem is focussed on his toe.

It's bad news for Fiorentina and coach Cesare Prandelli. Jovetic's presence for the Serie A game against Parma and the Champions League clash against Olympique Lyonnais is now in doubt.

He is likely to have further tests this weekend. Prandelli is also without Adrian Mutu and Mario Santana.
