Inter goalkeeper Julio Cesar believes his recent contract renewal has served to increase his motivation as he seeks to improve on the pitch.
The Brazilian has looked a little shaky at times this season, but Inter appear to have cured the problem with an extension.
"Before the renewal I was not feeling at all relaxed," Cesar told La Gazzetta Dello Sport.
"You try not to think about certain things, but in the end you think about them anyway. It was a strange period which was ugly. I made mistakes, but now you will see the real Cesar.
"I am happy with the renewal. I think I deserved it and I hope to carry on winning with Inter."
Cesar will need to ensure he is sharp and ready for when Inter play Barcelona in the Champions League. However, he knows that nothing can prepare him for the magic of Lionel Messi and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
"You cannot study those two players as they are capable of inventing anything with improvisation," concluded the Brazilian.
