Clarence Seedorf: Milan Can Fight For Scudetto

The Rossoneri's recent form has boosted the confidence of all the players, says the Dutchman, and they believe that they can still have their say in the race for the league title...

Milan midfielder Clarence Seedorf spoke favourably about his side's current form which has allowed them to get their season back on track, after a difficult opening few weeks.

Seedorf also found time to encourage his team-mate and fellow country man Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, who has struggled to make any kind of impact in Italy following his arrival from Real Madrid.

"We're in a great moment of form and we express a nice game," declared the Dutch player to milannews.it.

"Huntelaar needs to have patience. Leonardo believes a lot in his qualities and I'm convinced that he will come out of this.

"We can even fight for the Scudetto. Inter are strong, but the path is still long. When you play with Milan, you must always have the ambition of winning, therefore our objective is to arrive as high as possible."

Milan have been climbing up the standings in recent weeks and currently stand all alone in third place with 22 points from 12 games, two points behind Juventus and seven points behind leaders Inter.
