Sevilla striker Luis Fabiano has played down the transfer rumours linking him with a move to England or Italy, where a number of Europe's elite clubs are believed to be keeping tabs on him.

The Brazilian has told the Italian media that a move does not interest him for the moment, as he is happy with his role in Manolo Jimenez's side.

"I'm honestly not thinking about the rumours that say I want to leave," he insisted to Itasportpress.

"I'm doing well here, I'm happy with Sevilla's season because my performances in the league and the Champions League have been positive so far.

"For now, my attentions are focused on Sevilla. In the future, if I can move to Italy or England, I will evaluate it in due course."

The 29-year-old has been in fine form for los Nervionenses so far this season, scoring ten goals in 13 games in all competitions. He was strongly linked with a move to Milan during the summer, although the Rossoneri eventually chose to buy Klaas-Jan Huntelaar instead of the Brazilian.
