Milan Star Gennaro Gattuso's Stolen Jeep Found In Albania - Report
The driving force behind Milan's midfield has seen his stolen car turn up in in a rather unusual location...
A stolen Range Rover Jeep belonging to Milan midfielder Gennaro Gattuso has been found 1,000 miles from Milanello in Tirana, Albania.
DPA reports that the Albanian police arrested a man after noticing the powerful SUV he was driving was reported as stolen. After checking their database, they discovered it belonged to the Italian footballer, and that the vehicle was stolen back in November 2006.
Police have confirmed the Ranger Rover has now been impounded as they investigate further. It remains unknown as to whether the suspect is part of a gang or whether he has been ripped off by criminals selling stolen vehicles.
Gattuso has not issued any comment on the reports yet. The battling midfielder is currently injured and was not included in the Italy squad to face the Netherlands on Saturday.
