The former Italy Under-21 star is struggling to make an impact in Campania following his €11 million summer move from Atalanta.
Press reports suggest that the Vesuviani could use him as bait to land Argentine midfielder Cristian Ledesma, who is seeking a fresh start after being frozen out of the Lazio squad.
“I have not heard anything about it,” Cigarini’s agent, Giovanni Bia, told Tuttomercatoweb.
“I have not talked with Napoli nor Lazio. Luca loves it in Naples and has quickly settled into a fantastic group.
“He has obviously struggled due to Napoli’s early problems, just like the rest of the team.”
Cigarini has made nine appearances in the league so far, but has failed to establish himself as a first-team regular under Walter Mazzarri.
He netted his first goal for Napoli last month, when the Vesuviani overcame a two-goal deficit in the final minutes to hold Milan to a 2-2 draw at the San Paolo.
