Edy Reja Clears Air Over Lazio Coaching Link - Report
The Hajduk coach sets the record straight over the Biancocelesti situation...
Hajduk coach Edy Reja has decided to clarify some of the remarks that the Italian press have attributed to him, in regards to the Lazio coaching role that he is being linked to.
"I was asked if I was free, seeing that my name was already linked to Lazio," the former Napoli tactician told Novantesimo.it.
"I explained that I am with Hajduk, and that my contract has a clause about a release."
Both Reja and the Lazio management confirmed that there have been discussions about a possible return to an Italian bench, replacing current Biancocelesti boss Davide Ballardini.
Reja also stated that should an agreement be reached between both parties, he would not have to pay a fee to Hajduk for breaking his contract, as was initially reported.
