Roma Midfielder Matteo Brighi's Agent Denies Napoli Link - Report
Vanni Puzzolo, the player's agent, says he has no knowledge of any contact with the Partenopei...
Vanni Puzzolo has in fact only strengthened the bond that Brighi has with current side Roma, by insisting that his client is happy at the Giallorossi.
"I have not had any contact with Napoli," the agent told Radio Gol. "I really know absolutely nothing. He wants to remain at Roma, as he is more than happy there."
As to why the Italian international has not been playing much this term, Puzzolo puts it down to an injury, rather than the changing of coach.
He continued, "Matteo has had problems with his knee, and only now he is finding some form. This is the only reason behind why he has not played a lot. He will have to find the right rhythm to be able to play at his best.
"The changing of coach has influenced him minimally, as he has the utmost faith in [Claudio] Ranieri," the agent concluded.
The Lupi are currently in 13th place, on 15 points after 12 matches.
