Bari Are Still Interested In Roma Duo Alessio Cerci & Stefano Guberti - Sporting Director
The Galletti will have to evaluate any transfers carefully after their sterling start to the season...
The Galletti are defying many pundits, who believed that they would struggle after winning promotion last season. They currently sit in ninth place, boasting the best defensive record in Serie A.
Perinetti has now admitted that they are interested in bringing Roma winger Stefano Guberti back to the club, and coach Giampiero Ventura wants to add Alessio Cerci to his squad after working with him at Pisa.
"I can say that they are two players who interest us and we will continue to follow," he told laroma24.it.
"We had Guberti last year and Ventura has had Cerci, so we know what they are made of. It's too early to make further assessments now - only in 20 days will we evaluate whether we will act in the market or not.
"Our squad is doing well and has found the right balance, so we will have to consider this with care."
Bari face Roma at the Stadio Olimpico when Serie A resumes after the international break.
