Milan Chief Adriano Galliani: Leonardo's Attacking Tactics Are Risky
The chief has complained about the lack of support that the Rossoneri have received this season, but he hopes that Leonardo's expansive style of play will help win back some fans...
Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has shared his enthusiasm for Leonardo's risky but effective attacking approach. However, he has complained about the lack of season ticket sales.
The Rossoneri's new tactics have won plaudits from the hierarchy, and Galliani is hoping the new wave of excitement will wash fans back to the San Siro.
"What upsets me is that we have lost 16,000 season ticket holders compared to last year. I want to write to them to announce that we will be having a special deal from the New Year for those who want to subscribe," Galliani told Studio Sport.
"It's not that we want more money, it's just that having 40,000 fans in the stadium for the game against Roma was unacceptable."
Something which is acceptable though, is Leonardo's go-for-broke attacking play.
"With four players going forward, Milan always risk a great deal, but we also do a lot [offensively]. [President Silvio] Berlusconi likes the new system," concluded Galliani.
