Pablo Aimar's Italian agent, Claudio Anellucci, who works alongside the player's full time agent, Gustavo Mascardi, has slammed Lazio for being unclear over their intentions for the Benfica playmaker.
The Aquilotti have expressed an interest in the former Valencia and Real Zaragoza man, but they have taken their time in building the foundation blocks for a deal.
"We were set to meet Lazio in order to talk about the player, but they postponed everything without rescheduling a new date," Anellucci told Radio Sei.
"There is never a set day with Lazio. Even though [president Claudio] Lotito has followed the player, he has never done the necessary things to table an offer."
Lazio are currently locked in ritiro, and the club are in the midst of a press silence following a poor run of form.
