After scoring twice for Genoa this weekend, Hernan Crespo took his tally for the season to five goals in nine games in all competitions.

The Argentine striker has announced how happy he is to have made the move from Inter this summer, revealing that he is settling in well in such a passionate city.

"I'm doing well here, I'm alive with emotions," Crespo is quoted as saying by Tuttomercatoweb.

"Every victory is celebrated like a triumph - the football here continues to give me immense joy."

While the former Chelsea man is pleased with the Grifoni's progress so far this season, he maintains there is still room for improvement.

"Of course we can still improve in many respects, but despite the difficult moments that we have been through, we are well-placed in the championship and we can do well until the end in the Europa League.

"For the moment, things are going well like this," he concluded.
