The Nerazzurri's lead at the summit has been cut to five points, but Spalletti believes the chasing pack will find it hard to knock them off their platform.
"The Italian league is always tough, but it's still open. However, Inter are the strongest team," Spalletti told an assembly at the Italian Coaching Association.
Spalletti believes Inter's success is down to coach Jose Mourinho's panache. The coach is unbeaten at home in 150 matches since 2002, when he was at Porto.
"Jose Mourinho is a great coach who transmits important things to his players," he said.
Spalletti then hinted at his own future, which could be in Russia. Reports have linked him with Zenit St. Petersburg.
"I have received an important offer. However, the Russian league is about to end. There is a coach there [at Zenit], but we will see," he concluded.
