Fiorentina left-back Juan Manuel Vargas is singing the song of allegiance, and it is likely to be music to Pantaleo Corvino's ears as the Peruvian has rubbished talk of Real Madrid.
Reports in Spain and Italy have linked the versatile 26-year-old with a move to the Bernabeu.
Vargas has impressed at the Artemio Franchi this season, where he has been the unsung hero in the team. His good form has reportedly caught they eye in Madrid.
However, the defender is deaf to such whispers.
"I close my ears because I don't want certain things to influence us. Everyone loves me in Florence. Fiorentina is my club and I don't want to think about my future," Vargas told Puntosport.net.
"Obviously it's nice to hear about other clubs who are interested in me, but my thoughts go to the team whose shirt I am wearing."
