Fiery Lazio president Claudio Lotito will try to spark his side into life by putting them into a ritiro following their 2-1 loss to Milan.

According to Sportal.it, the Aquilotti are in lock-down at Formello under strict orders from Lotito.

The Italian is not pleased at being just two points above the relegation zone, and he is hoping the retreat will do the trick.

It's the second time in as many weeks that the club have been in ritiro. They have not won a game since Matchday 2, back in August.

Reports suggest coach Davide Ballardini's job is on the line, but the club have not confirmed any course of action as they are currently in the midst of a press silence.

However, they did confirm that the ritiro will last ten days ahead of the Napoli clash. Serie A action resumes for the Aquile on November 22 following the international break.
