Juventus Striker David Trezeguet: This Is Our Year For The Champions League

'Trez' has indicted his hunger to win a major trophy, and he thinks that the Bianconeri can hit the European jackpot...

David Trezeguet will no longer be wearing the famous Bianconeri colours after announcing his decision to leave the club
Juventus striker David Trezeguet believes this is the year when the Champions League trophy will head back to Turin for the first time since 1996.

'Trezegol' equalled Omar Sivori's 167 goal record for the club with his strike against Atalanta on Saturday. However, the hitman is focussing on team prizes, and most notably the Champions League.

"We are in the race for the Scudetto, but from what I have seen, we can think about the Champions League. This could be the right year for it," Trezeguet told La Gazzetta Dello Sport.

"Last year I was out of action for a long time with injuries, but now it's time to get some personal revenge.

"I have no intention to stop scoring, and I want to win something big."
