Bari coach Giampiero Ventura cannot get over the two dropped points against Sampdoria last weekend, despite the Galletti winning 1-0 against Livorno more recently.
A goal from Riccardo Allegretti secured maximum points for the Biancorossi, who continue their climb up the standings.
Had points not been dropped in Genova, Bari could have been as high as sixth. Instead, the team is sitting mid-table in ninth place.
"We suffered today, without any risks though," Ventura told SkySport after the game.
"This is thanks to our young players. It is the first time that a newly-promoted team has the best defensive record in the league [currently having conceded seven goals].
"The numbers are important to us, and they are gratifying.
"As for the table? If only we had won in Genova against Sampdoria," he concluded.
