After watching his in-form Palermo side given a reality check by a ruthless Bologna outfit, Rosanero coach Walter Zenga was understandably downbeat as he spoke to Rai shortly after the game.
“We don’t seem to make the step up and it’s not the first time that we have been on the back end of a similar disappointment.
“It’s a shame because had we been able to back up last weekend’s victory with another one today we could have made a great leap in the standings,” bemused the coach.
“The league table is extremely tight and we don’t need much to start flying.”
The Rosanero currently lie four points off the coveted European slots.
