Milan Coach Leonardo Looking Forward To Serie A Break
The Rossoneri will face Lazio today before the Italian top flight goes on a two-week break due to international matches.

Milan coach Leonardo is glad that his players will be able to rest from Serie A and Champions League matches for the next 15 days following this afternoon’s clash against Lazio.
Leonardo believes that the players cannot perform at their best when they are playing every three days, therefore a break like this will help to recharge their batteries ahead of the important games awaiting them in November and December.
“We needed the break after many games,” admitted the Brazilian mentor to Milan Channel. “The previous one was very important.
“You cannot play every three days for an entire year. There are the national team players who will leave and I hope that they will play just one game because they are tired.
“The break will still be useful to recover everyone. Unfortunately [Gennaro] Gattuso hurt himself, it’s a pity because he was returning, but during Wednesday’s training he felt a pain and now he must stop again. With the rest he will recover and work for 15 or 20 days.”
Thanks to the previous international break, Milan managed to put their woeful start behind and regenerate themselves to move up the standings into fourth place, nine points behind Inter.
