Livorno Coach Serse Cosmi: We Must Not Look For Alibis Against Bari
The Amaranto tactician is desperate to secure maximum points on Sunday...
After turning things around since his arrival at Livorno, coach Serse Cosmi has urged his side to make another leap up the standings with a result on Sunday against fellow Serie A returnees Bari.
“As I have said on more than one occasion, the game with Bari is a massive encounter for us,” he declared to CorrieredelloSport.
“Now I want a response from my boys on the field. We are slightly weakened following a number of recent injuries, but we mustn’t look for alibis. Everyone is dealing with similar problems in this testing moment of the season.
“Against Bari we will get a better understanding of whether we have ironed out the problems which left the side bottom of the standings not so long ago. I want to see some fluid play from my side and we must try and play our own game for the duration of the encounter,” he concluded.
