After taking an important step closer to qualification into the knock-out stages of the Champions League during the week, Fiorentina have been left with an injury crisis ahead of the Serie A encounter with Udinese.

As coach Cesare Prandelli prepares to count the damages ahead of Sunday’s game, the Viola tactician is certain to be without Adrian Mutu, Alessandro Gamberini, Stevan Jovetic, Cristiano Zanetti and the suspended Dario Dainelli.

“[Sebastian] Frey has given me his availability for tomorrow’s game, but I’ll wait and see how he responds following his recent injury,” declared Prandelli to CorrieredelloSport.

“Aside from all the absentees, I am extremely charged ahead of the trip to Udine. We will travel to the Friuli intent on playing our own game and I’m sure we manage as we always do.”
