Walter Mazzarri: Difficult Part Starts Now For Napoli
The Partenopei are in great form, having won three out of their last four Serie A games, but their coach certainly doesn't think it will be plain sailing in the immediate future...
Napoli coach Walter Mazzarri has been the perfect medicine so far for the club to get back on its feet and climb up the standings, beating Fiorentina and Juventus on the way, as well as obtaining an unlikely point against Milan.
On Saturday afternoon the Azzurri will face lowly Catania, but despite the huge gap between the two sides, Mazzarri is very cautious about this Matchday 12 encounter.
"I told the lads at the start of the week that the difficult part starts now," explained the former Sampdoria coach to sportmediaset.it. "I noticed that the team was already aware of this.
"It's a game which will have a lot of difficulties. It's a pitch which traditionally for Napoli is difficult.
"[Catania] are a team who have technical qualities and very good organisation. So far they have obtained less than they deserve.
"We have great respect for them, but I'm curious to see how Napoli will respond to this encounter."
Napoli are currently tied in sixth place with Genoa and Parma. They stand two points behind a Champions League spot..
