Juventus Must Reduce The Gap To Inter - Ciro Ferrara
The tactician believes that the Nerazzurri will slip up sooner or later, and his team must be ready to take advantage...
Inter have opened up a seven point gap on Juventus at the top of the Serie A standings, but Bianconeri boss Ciro Ferrara is certain that his team are capable of bringing themselves back into the title race.
"Having continuity in our results is important," he explained to Il Corriere dello Sport on Friday.
"After that match against Maccabi Haifa, our desire is to dive back into the championship and catch up.
"We must have the strength, enthusiasm, and the belief to work hard and take every chance until the very end. I repeat, we have the quality to reduce this gap."
While Juventus are in good position to qualify for the next round of the Champions League, having only conceded one goal in the tournament, their defence has been far less solid in Serie A.
"It's hard to understand why this has happened, but certainly it is a statistic that makes us think," mused the former Napoli defender.
"Whether it's the Champions League or [Serie A] championship, I am sure we can be winners. We want to improve and must be more careful."
