Adriano Galliani Shows Milan Coach Leonardo The Fist Of Faith
The Italian dignitary has hailed Leonardo's work as he gives the coach a vote of confidence...
The Rossoneri are returning to the levels expected of them at Milanello, and the Italian bigwig has hailed the positive trend.
"The double header against Real Madrid is showing that Leonardo is doing well. I like his module, and president [Silvio] Berlusconi has always wanted an attacking side," Galliani told the press outside the Lega Calcio offices before the Serie A general assembly.
Despite Milan's new taste for success, Galliani was keen to stress the need to temper belief with reality.
"I don't know what we can achieve this season. Milan are playing good football, and Leonardo has done well to create a scheme that can bring the best of the players," added Galliani.
The chief then expressed satisfaction at landing young Ghana striker Dominic Adiyiah after the initial negotiations failed.
"Adiyiah? The player had always wanted Milan, but he asked for too much [money]," continued the chief.
"Now he has to undergo a medical, and then he will be our player. He was the best player at the under-20 World Cup, just like [Lionel] Messi was."
