Luca Toni Is In Constant Contact With Francesco Totti - Report
The Bayern Munich striker is said to be keeping in touch with the Roma captain...
There is no disputing that Bayern Munich forward
Luca Toni has developed a strong friendship with Roma captain Francesco Totti.
Playing together for several years for the Italian national team, and winning the 2006 World Cup has helped forge a bond between the two.
But now it has been revealed that Totti has been in contact to possibly woo his friend from the German giants to the Giallorossi.
It is no secret that Toni would like to make a move to Italy to get more game-time, coming into a World Cup year.
"Totti called me to go to Roma? With him I have a good rapport, and we from each other frequently," Toni told Novantesimo.it
"I can confirm the telephone contact.
"Francesco has asked me how I was going, as he knew of my difficulties, and he also wanted to know of my intentions to return to Italy.
He added, "As for the rest? It is right that I keep that a secret."
The Lupi could be added to the growing list of teams entertaining the idea of swooping for the 32-year-old. Napoli and Milan are currently showing interest in the World Cup winner.
