Fabio Firmani Wants Lazio Stay - Agent
The representative for the ‘rebel’ midfielder has revealed his client has formally requested to be reintegrated into the squad...
While Lazio striker Goran Pandev and midfielder Cristian Ledesma have set about seeking the unilateral rescission of their deals with the Aquile, Fabio Firmani is hoping to patch things up with the club and get back into the team, after also being frozen out due to contractual disputes last summer.
“We have asked Lazio to reinstate him into the squad,” the midfielder’s agent Giulio Dini said to Lazialita.
“Our will and hope is to get out of this impasse and resolve this situation.
“We are open to discussion and await a sign from the directors. We have already scheduled a meeting with President [Claudio] Lotito.
“As soon as he returns from Spain, we will talk and our intention is to reach an agreement. Fabio is a player who deserves respect. He loves this shirt and is suffering because of this situation.
“We want to meet half-way with the club and Firmani’s wish is to resolve everything without causing the Biancocelesti any troubles.”
