Parma's Christian Zaccardo: We Played Well Against Milan

The Crociati will host Chievo Verona on Sunday, hoping to return to winning ways following their defeat at the San Siro against the Rossoneri last weekend...

Parma defender Christian Zaccardo wants all three points against Chievo Verona this weekend so that his team can get back on the winning track and resume the excellent start to the season.

The Crociati are coming off the back of a 2-0 defeat against Milan, when they played a good game but returned back home empty-handed.

"On Saturday night against Milan, we played more in the offensive phase, we created more than against Inter but, in both cases, we took zero points," explained the former Palermo player to sportmediaset.it.

"Saturday's performance was better from the offensive profile: we gave a lot, we could have scored, we hit the bar and [Nelson] Dida was good during a chance to stop our shot.

"We tried until the end. We're happy with the performance, but obviously not about the result."

Parma are currently in sixth place along with Napoli and Genoa, thanks to the 17 points from 11 league games.
