Bologna Ready To Fight For Survival - Davide Bombardini

The Rossoblu are one of the main candidates for the drop, but the midfielder believes that with hard work, the team can beat the drop...

Bombardini of Atalanta
Bologna midfielder Davide Bombardini knows that this will be a very difficult season for his team, as they will probably be fighting in or near the relegation zone until the end of this Serie A campaign.

However, Bombardini is cautiously optimistic about the Rossoblu's chances of survival, even though he admitted that it will take a lot of hard work to succeed.

"We have to fight, but I'm convinced that by the end of the season we shall save ourselves," declared the Felsinei's player to sportmediaset.it.

"Since the second match of last year against Atalanta, we have short breath: therefore we're vaccinated and ready to fight, no one here ever pulled back, even in the games against big teams, and we shall play it against everyone, knowing that in this season every win is difficult to earn.

"From this situation you can only come out of it through work: when we will be in a calmer situation, we will also be more serene and positive."

Bologna are currently in 16th place along with Livorno and Atalanta, as all three teams have nine points from 11 games, three points above bottom-placed Siena.
