Jean Francois Gillet Hails Bari's Great Start To The Season
The Galletti custodian says the team must be switched on at all times to maintain their good form...
Bari goalkeeper Jean-François Gillet insists that if the Biancorossi want to achieve success in the league, they must be able to bounce back from their recent disappointing results.
The team has a good blend of defence and offence, and has illustrated so far this season, that can work well together.
"We have a good mix of players on the park, and are working well with one another," Gillet told Datasport.
"It is giving us confidence and trust - not only in the defensive half - but all across the park.
"I feel protected enough by my team-mates, but not only those who play in front of me, but also by my strikers, who work hard and apply constant pressure.
"The team is well-organised on the field, and plays a big part in how the ladder looks."
So, how is that Bari can keep on obtaining positive results?
"Our secret is that we are good at moving on from disappointing results, he continued.
"For example, we are no longer remembering what happened against Sampdoria, but discussing how to tackle [Livorno's Francesco] Tavano and [Cristiano] Lucarelli. We cannot let our guard down.
"It will be a difficult match for us because they are coming off two consecutive victories.
"It's a match that can bring tranquillity to a side, but maximum determination will be needed to obtain a positive result."
The two sides will meet on Sunday afternoon.
