The South American duo have been left out of Ranieri's squad for the Europa League tie, along with Francesco Totti as 'Er Pupone' is still recovering from his injury.
However, Jeremy Menez, Matteo Brighi and Max Tonetto all trained normally on Wednesday morning and could be in line for a return to the Giallorossi first team.
There was also a scare as David Pizarro suffered a blow to his right ankle, but there was no lasting damage. It was a relief to Ranieri, as the Chilean was arguably Roma's best player when the sides met a fortnight ago.
Roma squad to face Fulham: Cicinho, Andreolli, Mexes, Pizarro, Vucinic, Taddei, Motta, De Rossi, Riise, Baptista, Perrotta, Guberti, Tonetto, Cerci, Julio Sergio, Doni, Brighi, Cassetti, Okaka, Menez.
