Luca Toni has been constantly linked with an exit from Bayern Munich in the last few months, and the player himself has revealed that he has spoken about his future with Roma talisman Francesco Totti.
"I get on well with Francesco," he told Sky Sport Italia.
"We have spoken via SMS and on the phone, and we talked about a few things.
"He asked me how I was, he knew that I had some problems with [Louis] van Gaal, the coach, and [he asked] if I wanted to go back to Italy."
However, Toni was unwilling to potentially jeopardise his future with the German giants by going into further detail.
"What we said after that is something that remains between myself and Francesco," he concluded evasively.
