AC Milan Midfielder Gennaro Gattuso Struck Down By Injury - Report
The Italian midfielder has picked up another injury...
According to Sky Sport Italia, the Italian international was forced to leave the Milanello turf earlier than the rest of the squad after going down with a muscular problem.
Early indications from Milan suggest the midfielder has strained a flexor muscle in his right leg. The extent of the injury is likely to be evaluated over the coming days.
It's not good news for the Italian who has been plagued by injury all season. He was out for two weeks following the Milan derby in August where he twisted his ankle. Gattuso then stopped following an injury he sustained with Italy before making his return against Parma on Sunday.
It is unknown as to how long he will be out of action for. The club have not released a statement regarding the injury just yet.
