Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has expressed his delight at the confirmation that Los Angeles Galaxy midfielder David Beckham will be re-joining them in January in another loan deal.

The news has been hanging in the air for the past few weeks, but it was only confirmed yesterday that both club and player wanted to resume the experience they had interrupted in June of this year, when the English player returned to the USA.

“We are happy to see David Beckham back with the Rossoneri’s shirt after the wonderful experience of last season,” commented the Rossoneri’s director to Milan Channel.

“We’re sure that this period in Europe will help the player to participate in the next World Cup and continue afterwards his career with Los Angeles Galaxy, whom we thank for their help.”

Last season’s experience with the Rossoneri proved to be a very positive one for Beckham. He played a total of 18 league games and also scored two goals for the team to help them clinch a Champions League spot.
