Modesto expressed his regret that the Rossoblu failed to win the game, but admitted that it was good to leave the Stadio Renzo Barberaa with a point.
"It's a pity because we could have won, but it's still ok," commented the Grifoni's player to tuttopalermo.net.
"We did not concede a goal, therefore it's a good result.
"Palermo are a great team and we played it openly. [Goalkeeper Salvatore] Sirigu was very good, but even our goalkeeper [Alessio] Scarpi made an incredible save on [Fabrizio] Miccoli."
Genoa are now in sixth place, along with Napoli and Parma, thanks to the 17 points obtained so far in 11 games played, with their upcoming league match being at home against bottom side Siena.
