Roma Must Get Points Against Inter To Avoid Further Problems – David Pizarro

Roma managed to snap a four match winless run at the weekend, by narrowly accounting for Bologna 2-1 at the Stadio Olimpico in the Italian capital.

The Giallorossi were forced to come from behind, as Mirko Vucinic and Simone Perrotta scored either side of the break, to ensure all three points for the struggling side.

Next up in the league for the Romans are the reigning champions and current league leaders Inter, a clash that David Pizarro knows his side must excel in, if they are to maintain their winning ways.

“It was very important for us to win against Bologna,” Pizarro was quoted as saying on Corriere dello Sport.

“Our position in the standings is not great, but what we really want now is revenge, starting this weekend.

“Now we have to face Inter at the San Siro, in a match that we must attain some points in.”

I Lupi play host to Fulham in the Europa League this Thursday, before travelling to Milan to square off against the Nerazzurri on Sunday night at 20:45 CET.
