Juventus Coach Ciro Ferrara Not Feeling The Heat After Napoli Defeat

The Bianconeri must ensure that they are not thinking about Saturday's defeat and are fully focused on their Champions League tie this week...

Juventus surrendered a two-goal advantage at the weekend to lose 3-2 in the Stadio Olimpico to Napoli, causing new president Jean-Claude Blanc to reaffirm the club's faith in their young coach.

Ciro Ferrara has now affirmed to Il Corriere dello Sport that he is not feeling the pressure after the Bianconeri's defeat this weekend, but is concentrating on preparing his side for tomorrow's Champions League encounter with Maccabi Haifa instead.

"[I have] the same serenity and the same attention that I had before the start of the season," Ferrara declared.

"I am perfectly aware of what our goals are and what our potential is, and I will try to bring them out of the team. Nothing has changed since the start in terms of pressure.

"Each game produces a different situation, and we have seen this in the last two games. We should not look to avenge the Napoli result against Maccabi, but instead [to have] the right drive and right attention in order to continue on our path in the Champions League."
